Vicki Radford, 74, of Ririe, Idaho, passed away Monday, July 3, 2023, at her home.
Vicki was born February 10, 1949, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Lamar and Neva Fullmer. Vicki spent her younger years on the family farm in the Sugar City area before moving to Blackfoot for her early school years and later moved to Ririe, where she completed her high school education.
On August 18, 1967, Vicki married Rex Radford in the Idaho Falls Temple. Together, they established their home in Ririe, Idaho, where they raised their four daughters. Vicki dedicated over 40 years to the the medical field, starting at Madison Memorial Hospital and later transitioning to Rexburg Medical Center, where she worked as a lab technician and x-ray technician until her retirement.
Vicki was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed teaching the gospel and always took a visual aid for her lessons. She and Rex had the opportunity to serve a mission at the historic sites in Palmyra, New York, where she got to teach the restoration of the gospel every day.
Throughout her life, Vicki pursued numerous hobbies and interests. She was an exceptional seamstress and enjoyed floral arranging and home decoration, especially during the Christmas season. Vicki was a talented writer who authored two books and collaborated with a friend to create a children’s song book. Additionally, she found joy in writing poetry and exploring her creativity through Photoshop projects.
Vicki is survived by her husband, Rex Radford, and her daughters: Jodi (Ralph) Stanton, Malinda Wheeler, Cara (John) Hardy, and Anjanette (Preston) Roberts. She leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, and two granddaughters; Victoria Roberts and Graycee Roberts.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at the Perry Ward LDS church building (285 2nd W St, Ririe). The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00-7:30pm at the Perry Ward LDS church building and Saturday morning from 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Ririe-Shelton cemetery.
The family of Vicki would like to thank OneSource Home Health & Hospice nurses and aides for the special care they provided Vicki in the final weeks of her life.
