Victor G. Hill

Victor G. Hill, 61, of Rexburg, died December 19, 2009. He was born July 22, 1948, in Rigby, the son of George W. Hill, and Elsie Marie Galbraith Hill. He attended grade school in Archer and Lyman and graduated from Madison High School. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. On August 14, 1976, he married Maryann Perrenoud, they later divorced. He worked as a plumber for 1st Street Plumbing. Victor enjoyed horse riding, hunting, fishing, and camping, with his good friend Blair McCoulloch, he enjoyed family time, and especially loved spending time with his grandsons. He is survived by his children, Vicky Ann (Trevor) Gregory, of Chubbuck, Rebecca Ann (Jeremy) Rigby, of Boise, Rocky Joe (Kristina) Hill, of St. Anthony, Samuel Lee (Krista) Hill, of Archer, Siblings, Beverly (Ronald) Meikle, of St. Anthony, Julia (Jeff) Lords, of Aurora, Colorado, Edna Hobson, of Lava Hot Springs, Milton (Carol) Hill, of Boise, Howard (Julie) Hill, of Idaho Falls, Dele (Sharon) Hill, of Rexburg, Blair Hill, of Rexburg, and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, 2 brothers, 3 nephews, and 2 nieces. A memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2009, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W.
