Virjean (Jeanie) Ethel Mobley entered this earthly life on December 30, 1944 in Rigby, Idaho and graduated to the next life on October 5, 2023 in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Jeanie was born to Nellie Ethel Ormond Mobley and Roy Andrew Mobley. She joined three older sisters and one older brother in the family. Later, a younger sister was added to the family. She grew up in Menan, Idaho and went to school there.
When her father passed away in 1970, she and her mother moved to Idaho Falls. She had a strong faith in the Lord and enjoyed walking over to the Idaho Falls Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with her mother and serving there.
When her mother passed away in 1999, she moved back to Menan, Idaho and lived next door to her sister, Utahana Olaveson, where she resided until her passing.
Jeanie loved family gatherings. She enjoyed music – singing in the church choir and playing the organ. She always wanted to give to others. Her sisters and nieces and nephews have cherished embroidery and crocheted items that she made for them. Jeanie loved animals and always had pets.
Many family members were there to welcome Jeanie as she crossed to the other side, including her parents, her brother Vernnon Mobley, three brothers-in-law, Wayne Olaveson, Earl Edward Ryan, and Fenner Wages, along with two nephew, Kenneth Bowles and Brandon Mobley.
