Vivian Faye Milius

Vivian Faye Williams Milius, age 66, passed away peacefully at home amidst her loving family in Rexburg, Idaho, Saturday, May 25, 2019, at 4:24 a.m.

Vivian was the daughter of Leslie Warren Williams and Arlene (Nelson) Williams, she was born in Ukiah, California on December 28, 1952. Vivian graduated from North Salinas High School in 1971, from Ricks College with an Associates in Art in 1974, from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education in 1976, and from Brigham Young University with a Master’s in Library Science in1978.

Vivian married the love of her life, Steven Warren Milius at the Salt Lake Temple on June 17, 1983. They were married for nearly 36 years.

Vivian was a librarian, the primary positions she worked included Manager and a Children’s Librarian. She worked in the Salt Lake Library District (1979-1995), the Springville Public Library (1995-2007), and the Madison Library District (2007-2019). She enjoyed curating the collection and performing weekly story time.

Vivian was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She also homeschooled her daughters, created photo albums, and enjoyed reading, watching movies, and discussing ideas.

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, and was survived by her husband Steven Milius; her daughters; Laura (David) Felt, Jasmine Milius, Margret (John) Walker, Trina Rivera, Lark Milius, and Julia Milius; her five sisters; Gwen Williams (Bill Gibson), Velinda Williams-Mitchell, Dawna (Edwin) Sexton, Natasha (Dean) Boren, and Tara (Vance) Carolin; and her eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at the Rexburg Stake Center 845 W. 7 ^th S. Rexburg, Idaho, at 11:00 a.m.
