Walter DAVID Shelton, 54, of Rigby, died at his home, Saturday, April 17, 2004. Dave was born October 14, 1949, at Grey Bull, Wyoming, the son of John R. Shelton and Mary Fae Keller Shelton.
He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls, Idaho and graduated from Idaho Falls, High School. Dave worked as a Mechanic at the INEEL for 15 years, and for various service stations in the Idaho Falls area. He worked as a volunteer for the Idaho March of Dimes, and was an instructor for the Idaho Hunters Safety Program. He was a member of the Lutheran Church. Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and fixing things.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Shelton of Rigby, Idaho. A daughter, Jeannie Acamo of Boise, Idaho. A son, John (Frances) Shelton of Moreland, Idaho. Two Step Daughters, Candice (Isrrael) Cruz of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Stephanie (Byron) Allred of Bend, Oregon.
A Sister, Margie (Dave) Sanders of Boise, Idaho and a brother, Steve Shelton of Hermiston, Oregon
He is survived by 8 grandchildren.
He was preceded by his parents.
Memorial Services will be held Friday, April 23, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in, Rigby.
