Wanda L. Byington

Wanda L. Byington, age 86, of Ririe, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at Idaho Falls Health and Rehab. She was born April 28, 1921 at Clark, a daughter of Jesse Gabriel Clark and Ada Bell Campbell Clark. She was raised and attended schools in Clark and LaBelle and graduated from Ririe High School. On July 2, 1938 she married John Franklin Byington, they made their home in Ririe. She was employed at Brown’s I.G.A and for Earl Hunter, both in Ririe, and worked at various other places. Wanda was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in all the Auxiliaries, and in the Idaho Falls Temple. She enjoyed quilting, flowers, reading, gardening and loved serving others. She is survived by three daughters; Joy (Robert) Hodges of Clovis, CA, Rita (Stillman) Buzzell of Ririe, Dawna (Scott) Allen of Ammon, Eleven grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son; Daryl Byington, and one brother; Wayne Clark, two grandsons, and one great granddaughter. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2007 at the Ririe 2nd Ward LDS Chapel, with Bishop Steven Hickman officiating. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby and from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, at the church. Interment will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
