Wes Hill

Wesley Alan Hill was born in Salina, Kansas on Sept 25th 1938 to Charles Francis Hill and Martha Catherine Hadley. He passed away surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, Sept 19th 2010. Beloved husband of Diane Irene Hill and loving father of Jon Pierre Francia, Matthew Alan Maynard Hill, Adam Wesley Hill, Beth Hill, Charles F. Hill, Deanna Edwards, and Tina Caldwell, also survived by his sister, Roberta Karcher, 9 grandchildren; Katie, Justin, Taylor, Connor, Hanna, Savana, Miles, Mary, Ty and 1 great grand daughter, Emma. Wesley spent his professional career among several engineering disciplines as a Senior Designer/Draftsman. A tremendous athlete early on, Wesley excelled in track and field, softball, football, and volleyball and remained active throughout his entire life. His love for sports was equaled to his love for food, cars, tools and great bargains. Always a cookie connoisseur and frequenter of garage sales, Wesley found great joy in simple pleasures and his interests and infectious optimism have been passed on to his family and friends. Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 106 N 3800 E in Rigby Idaho at 11am on Wednesday, September 22, 2010. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery, under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
