W. Bryan Thornton, 64 of Pocatello Idaho, passed away on August 6, 2023. Bryan was born in Idaho Falls. His boyhood was spent in Ammon, Idaho. Later in life he lived in Salt Lake City, Utah and Pocatello, Idaho. Bryan found joy in life through his hobbies, which included gardening (both indoor and outdoor), electronics, computer programming and science fiction novels.
Although never married, Bryan loved his family and always took joy when he was able to visit with his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.
Bryan is survived by his four brothers, Kevin, Alan, Robert and Aaron and three sisters Susan, Becky and Brenda. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Thurla Thornton.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at the Ammon Cemetery on Sunnyside Road in Ammon.
