William “Bill” Martin Harris, 95, of Lewisville, Idaho died Friday, November 1, 2002 at
Rexburg, Idaho in the Rexburg Nursing Center.
Bill was born August 31, 1907 in Lewisville, Idaho the son of Russell King Harris and Eliza
Walker Harris.
He attended schools in Lewisville and Midway, Idaho graduating from Midway High School.
On October 17, 1938 he married Juliana Petersen in Rexburg, Idaho. Their marriage was later
solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on December 21, 1945. They had been married for
64 years.
William farmed and worked at the Sugar Factory in Lincoln, Idaho near Idaho Falls, Canner’s
Seed and Idaho Fresh Pak in Lewisville, Idaho and Walker Produce in Menan, Idaho. He was a
member of the Horse and Mule Association. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter Day Saints and had served faithfully. He enjoyed his family, friends and other activities
very much.
He is survived by his wife of Juliana Petersen Harris of Lewisville, Idaho. Two daughters;
Rosalie (Robert) Donnelly of Lewisville, Idaho and Cheryl David of Pocatello, Idaho. A son;
William Dennis (Sharon) Harris of Ucon, Idaho. Fourteen grandchildren and twenty-nine great
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, three sisters and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. in the Lewisville LDS
Chapel with Bishop Randy Madsen officiating. The family will meet with friends on Monday,
November 4, 2002 in the Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby, Idaho from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
and on Tuesday, November 5, 2002 at the Lewisville LDS Church from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Burial will be in the Lewisville Cemetery in Lewisville, Idaho.
