William "Bill" Holmes

William “Bill” Holmes, passed away in St. Anthony, Idaho.

He was born on November 18, 1969 to Gerald and Elma Schmardebeck Holmes in Rexburg, Idaho. Bill attended Clark County schools, graduating from Clark County High School in 1988.

During his life, Bill lived in Dubois ID, Rawlins WY, Idaho Falls ID and St. Anthony ID. Bill worked for the Grant Ashcraft Ranch, on a family farm working with sheep and cows, for University of Idaho at the Sheep Experiment Station, as well as the Wyoming State Highway Department.

Bill loved fishing and watching the St. Louis Cardinals, Colorado Avalanche and the Denver Broncos.

Bill is survived by his aunt Jolene Holmes, Dee Ann Holmes and extended family. He is preceded by his parents Gerald and Elma Holmes.

Memorial Graveside Service for Bill will held this Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dubois Cemetery.
