William “Bill” Glen Miller age 85, of Rigby, Idaho, died December 9, 2020 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Bill was born December 19, 1934 in Glendale, California the son of Van H. and Cora Eliza Staley Miller.
Bill grew up and attended school in Mudlake, Idaho and graduated from Roberts High School; after which he attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho.
As an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day-Saints he served as Secretary of the Aaronic Priesthood, and as a Ward Clerk. Bill served a Family History Mission with his wife to Salt Lake City, Utah. He served in Idaho Falls and Rexburg Temples.
Bill worked as a machinist for Boeing in Seattle and at INL until his retirement to 1996. He served a four year machinist apprenticeship for Anaconda Company in Anaconda, Montana.
He enjoyed Horses, hunting, camping, fishing and wood working.
Bill is survived by his wife Phyllis Joy Miller of Rigby, Idaho. Two daughters, Bonita (Lorenzo) Smuin of Terreton, Idaho; Rhonda (Verle) Skidmore of Rigby, Idaho. Four Sons, Merritt(Shirley) Miller of Jaffray, British Columbia, Canada, Brent (Connie) Miller of Downey, Idaho, Wayne Miller of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Terry (Julia) Miller of Bountiful, Utah. Survived by one sister Faye Miller of Kent, Washington. Bill is survived by 22 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Saturday December 12, 2020 in the Terreton Stake Center at 2:00 p.m.
Interment will be in the West Jefferson Cemetery, at Mudlake, Idaho under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
