Wilma Elizabeth Williams

Wilma Elizabeth Williams, 74 of Blackfoot, died Monday, June 19, 2006 at the Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Wilma was born on September 28, 1931 in Rock Springs, Wyoming, a daughter of Louis Wesswick and Christine Hostar Wesswick. She was raised and attended school at Rock Springs, Wyoming. She married Meshack Louis Williams on January 29, 1965 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He preceded her in death in 1997. She worked as a nurses aide in the 1950’s at the Sweet Water Memorial Hospital in Rock Springs, Wyoming and then at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Idaho Falls. She later worked at the Bingham Memorial Hospital in housekeeping. Wilma enjoyed nursing, caring for people, camping, fishing, and being a homemaker. Wilma is survived by two sons, Thomas Eugene Williams and Meshack Louis Williams Jr. both of Blackfoot. One sister Louise Wesswick of Rock Springs, Wyoming, one brother Ernest Wesswick of Lakewood, Colorado, and two grandchildren. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one step-son, two brothers and one sister. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2006 at the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. The family will visit with friends on Thursday morning from 9:00 – 9:45 a.m. at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
