Wyora Ann Hoopes, age 85 of Archer, Idaho died Saturday, November 27, 2004 at Rexburg Care Center. Wyora was born November 15, 1919 at Archer, Idaho a daughter of James Briggs Sr. and Hannah Elizabeth Nelson Briggs. She attended schools in Archer and Rexburg, Idaho and graduated from Madison High School. She married Clarence Leonard Hoopes, June 7, 1941 at Blackfoot, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple March 5, 1980. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Wyora spent most of her summers in the mountains with her husband and family logging. She enjoyed making arts and crafts for her family. She is survived by 2 daughters: Barbara Aldean Stone of Idaho Falls and Priscilla Eileen (Conrad) Michaels of Phoenix, Arizona, 1 sister Mildred Corey of Archer, Idaho, 6 grandchildren: Terrie Jeffs, Trina Fazendin, Jason Stone, Stephanie Zamenick, Ginger Coldcleugh and Reuben Michaels and 11 great grandchildren: Ceelie, Kasey, Tyler, Korey, Kelsie, Jaycie, Jamie, Emonnee, Teeonna, Zarah and Dahmare, and 1 great-great grandchild Taygen. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters Clara Hunsaker and Edith Sharp and 3 brothers James Briggs, Earl Briggs, and Elmer Briggs. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 3, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in the Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby with Bishop Norman Erickson officiating. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Friday for one hour prior to services at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Sutton Cemetery in Archer, Idaho.
