Zachary Daniel Meng, 20, of Rigby, died at his home Wednesday, November 19, 2003.
Zachary was born August 29, 1983 at Idaho Falls, Idaho a son of Charles Danny Meng and Raylene Tovey Johnson Meng. He attended schools in Rigby and graduated from Jefferson High School. He had a talent for art, a love of people and his family, and his interests included motorcycles and cars. He worked at Yellowstone Log Homes, and at Broulims. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held the office of Priest.
Survivors include his parents Charles Danny and Raylene Tovey Meng, 4 brothers Donovan Friedrich (Deanna S.) Meng, Dylan Heinrich (Toni) Meng, Hans (Mitchell (Linda Krista) Meng and Nickolas Charles Meng a daughter Emma and a friend Kim Balderson all of Rigby, grandparents Charles Meng of Rigby and Elaine Rumsey of Preston, Idaho and 10 Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by a grandmother Evelyn Meng and a grandfather Ray Alder Johnson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 22, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the Rigby East Stake Center, 4021 East 300 North, Rigby with Bishop J. Marden Sievers of the Rigby 8th Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Rigby East Stake Center and on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the Stake Center. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
