Zane Reed Radford, 86, of Garfield, passed away at his home Saturday, November 18, 2017. Zane was born January 18, 1931 at Ririe, Idaho a son to Lorin Edward and Gladys Monroe Radford. He attended Rigby school and farmed with his family in LaBelle. He married Phyllis Park, August 9, 1947 in Dillon, Montana. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple, May 8, 1998. He was an active member of the LDS Church serving in the Library, as a dedicated home teacher and was a greeter for twelve years. He worked as a machinist for Simpson Timber Company in Eureka, California. Zane was an avid Salmon Fisherman and Elk Hunter, he enjoyed gardening and trips to Mexico. He is survived by his wife Phyllis Radford of Garfield, two daughters, Ann Marie (Paul) Lanphere of Roseburg, Oregon, and Particia (Ted) WIliams of Ririe, two sisters, Joyce (George) Smith of Mesa, Arizona and LaRee (Donald) Dunn of Pocatello, Idaho, a brother Jay (Louise) Radford of Rockland, Idaho, seven grandchildren twenty-two great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Reed Edward Radford, a sister Gladys Radford, one grandson Jerry Green and a great grandson Perry Green. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Garfield LDS Chapel, 71 North 3700 East, Rigby, Idaho. The family will visit with friends Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby, and on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the Garfield Church.
