Zelma Lamb Edelmayer, 74 of Roberts, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at her home. She was under the care of Hospice OneSource.
She was born May 12, 1938 in Twin Bridges, Montana to Delbert Ross Lamb and Leora Edna Lyon Lamb. Her family moved to Blackfoot when she was three years old, where she was raised until age thirteen. She then moved to Roberts and lived the rest of her life there. She attended schools in Blackfoot, Shelley and Roberts.
On February 19, 1955 she married James Edelmayer in Menan. They had four children, Carl James, Anita Faye, Thomas Peter and Kayleen Ann. Zelma was blessed with fourteen grandchildren, and twenty one great grandchildren.
Zelma enjoyed many things in her life, crocheting, camping, gardening, snow machining, ice racing and playing cards. She had different jobs outside the home, her favorites included, potato harvest for Ed Browning and working at E.I. with her lifelong friend Loretta Stamper. Everyone that knew her knew she was a homemaker at heart and loved her family more than life itself. She took care of everyone and was a mom and grandma to all.
She is survived by her sons, Carl James (Julie) Edelmayer, of Grant, Thomas Peter (Kim) Edelmayer, of Rexburg, daughter Kayleen Ann (Matt) Mann, of Ririe, Brothers, Jay Lamb, of Roberts, Richard (Sue) Lamb, of Roberts, Rick (Roxanne) Lamb, of Roberts, sister, Judy (Denny) Garner of Osgood.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Edelmayer, brother Karl Lamb, sister Faye Edelmayer, daughter, Anita Edelmayer, and grandson, Brent Edelmayer.
The family extends a special thanks to her nurses, Glenda and Meredith, Dr. Adams and Dr. McAllister and all of their staff.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday October 27, 2012, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., Friday and from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Market Lake Cemetery Roberts, Idaho. Services are under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
