Troy Sharum, 72, of Rigby, Idaho and formerly of California died Thursday, November 10, 2005 at his son’s home in Rigby.
He was born September 10, 1933 at Wewoka, Oklahoma the son of James Sharum and May Arnett Sharum.
Troy served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He worked as a carpenter in California and was a member of the Carpenter’s Union of California.
His favorite things were to go for drives and being in the out of doors.
He is survived by his sons; Mark Sharum of Rigby, Idaho, David Sharum of Rigby, Idaho and Andrew Sharum of Huntington Beach, California. Two sisters; Geneva Morford of San Diego, California and Nancy Randall of Phillipsburg, Kansas and a brother, Johnny Sharum of Idaho Falls, Idaho.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter and three sons.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 17, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main, Rigby, Idaho. The family will meet with friends from 9:30 to 10:45 am. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel prior to services. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
